Here is a sampling of sites I've Designed, Redesigned and/or Updated
(These sites will open in a new browser window)
Maine Humanities Council

Maine Humanities Council

The wonderful thing about this site, besides it being informative and attractive, is that it actually comes in useful for the Council. For example, putting information on the web that will be used by libraries. The last five newsletters are part of the site.

Lavendier Myers Art

Lavendier Myers Art

This site was done for a local artist, to exhibit the work. The challenges involved optimising the works of art for good download time, while retaining the quality of the image; and designing the site in such a way that the paintings were prominently displayed. The site includes 12 pictures of paintings (thumbnails and a large view) and a javascript slideshow.

Katahdin Institute

Katahdin Institute

The Katahdin Institute website has frequent updates for their programs.

Jon Stanley, PA

Jon Stanley, PA

This is Jon Stanley's "Emerging Legal Paradigms" site. We've also used the site to load reference materials for legal papers he's written.

Maine Speakout

Maine Speakout

This organization had a previous site. We changed the domain name and the site was totally re-designed (it had been done with FrontPage). It is a large site, and still growing! I regularly add new content and work with the organizers in promoting events.

Shoestring Theater

Shoestring Theater

The challenge here was incorporating the existing creative and funky spirit of Shoestring Theater! Fortunately Nance Parker had a wealth of materials I could work with, including photographs and drawings on paper.

National Coalition Building Institute

National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI)

This is a site that I inherited. The challenge was re-organizaing the text/information into a more user-friendly and logical arrangement, making it very easy to read and attractive.

Peace Action Maine

Peace Action Maine

My involvement here has been continuous with updating and maintenance. Since September of 1999, I've added the Peace Talk Newspaper every three months. These archives are a great resource for back articles. Plus, there is a search feature on the site that could help locate the article you're looking for.
